Alaska

Alaska is majestic any way you look at it.

Majestic is a great word to describe all that is Alaska. It is known as one of the last wild frontiers in the United States. Situated in the northwest extremity of North America, it is the United State’s largest state. Alaska houses Mt. McKinley, the highest peak in North America, Anchorage, the city that houses more than half of Alaska’s residents, and an amazing surplus of beautiful wildlife including grizzly bear, moose, wolves, dall sheep, caribou, sea lions, and humpback whales. Seeing a 900-pound brown bear catching a leaping salmon in its jaws is commonplace in places like Katmai National Park. Alaska is also home to glaciers as big as 5 miles long in Juneau, gateway to Glacier Bay National Park. When it comes to travel adventures there is so much to offer from cruises to fishing trips to mountaineering the wild frontier to viewing the amazing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). Alaska is big, beautiful and wildly bountiful.
