South and Central America

South and Central America have amazing travel destinations.

South and Central America boast amazing places to visit like the Amazon rainforest, Panama Canal, Machu Picchu, and the Galapagos Islands.

Central America is the thin section of land that links the North American continent with the South American Continent. It is made up of seven small, mostly tropical countries. The seven countries that makeup Central America are Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama. This area is more diverse than any similar-sized area on the planet. Here you can find dense jungles, Mayan pyramids, and amazing wildlife including monkeys and exotic birds.

South America is nestled between the Caribbean, the South Pacific, and the South Atlantic Oceans, South America is the wilder of the Americas and a continent of superlatives. Thirteen countries strong, the continent is home to astounding natural and cultural wonders, including the snowcapped peaks of the Andes, thousands of kilometers of magnificent white-sand beaches, captivating colonial towns and indigenous villages, and the Amazon rainforest – home to more plant and animal species than anywhere else on earth as well as the longest river, the Amazon. It also includes remote islands such as Galapagos Islands, Easter Island and Fernando de Noronha, heavenly beaches, wide deserts, icy landscapes, and the world’s tallest waterfall. Here you can see ruins of ancient civilizations such as Machu Picchu and other Inca cities, as well as world-class metropolitan areas such as São Paulo, Buenos Aires, Bogotá, Caracas, Santiago, Sima and Rio de Janeiro with amazing architecture and oldest rock paintings in the Americas.
