Seeing a 900-pound brown bear catching a leaping salmon in its jaws is commonplace in places like Katmai National Park. Alaska is also home to glaciers as big as 5 miles long in Juneau, gateway to Glacier Bay National Park. When it comes to travel adventures there is so much to offer from cruises to fishing trips to mountaineering the wild frontier to viewing the amazing Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis). Alaska is big, beautiful and wildly bountiful.

The Falkland Islands are ~300 miles south of South America and hold to mid Antarctica climates. The islands boast a wide variety of wildlife and scenic views. The island’s culture is a mix between Hispanic South America and British with a population under 3000. The beauty that resides in this southern cold paradise is a great addition to any traveler’s bucket list.
