Virgin Voyages aboard The Scarlet Lady

Renee D’Avirro, the manager of our Santa Ana office, writes about her experience on Virgin Voyages The Scarlet Lady

The New York launch party to celebrate Virgin Voyages first ship The Scarlet Lady founded by Sir Richard Branson was beyond exceptional!

This included two days of over the top elegance starting with a high tea at the top of One World Trade Center to formally introduce Virgin Voyages.

I was so excited to have the opportunity to be invited to this AWESOME meet & greet starring and hosted by Sir. Richard Branson himself at the top of the One World Observatory 102ndfloor in New York. As I arrived at the One World Observatory we were passed through security and then entered a state of the art “Sky Pod”elevator which traveled 102 floors in 47 seconds!  We were greeted with champagne, an assortment of teas and delicious scones!   The introduction of this new line of cruise ships from Virgin Voyages included a wonderful discussion directed by Richard Branson about his dream to build a cruise empire. What Richard Branson envisioned during his life was detailed down to the “T”. We were entertained with this new vison of luxury cruisingand what it entails in the 21st century.

The Scarlet Ladyand future ships are directed to clientele all over 18 years of age. This new fleet will focus on the “experience” itself and detailed a new direction for entertainment and dining that is sure to please the senses. Offering a multitude of amenities such as free Wi-Fi, various dining options twenty plus throughout each ship as well as unlimited onboard events and entertainment all geared toward a 21st century experience, Virgin Voyages is an updated new and fresh vision of cruising.

Following a dramatic high tea at One World, allthe “first mates” and their respective guests were additionally wined and dined attending a grand function launch cocktail party at the PlayStation Theater. At this gala event we were all treated to an experience similar to what one would experience on this new line of cruise ships. Signature cocktails and food that gave us each a taste of the future and encompassed the new direction along with entertainment that we all thoroughly enjoyed.

The new Virgin Voyages is sure to please those who are looking for an updated cruise experience.

The launch party celebrated the opportunity to start booking the Scarlet Ladytoday. The inaugural sailing will take place spring of 2020 from Miami on four –and five –day Caribbean and Cuba cruises with multiple cruise dates now open to book.  Welcome to the new face and signature brand of cruising for the future.
