Australia & South Pacific

Australia and New Zealand are ready to be explored.
Australia and New Zealand offer travelers unique cultural experiences and posses majestic beauty in both the people and the landscapes.

Australia is world-famous for its natural wonders including beaches, deserts, and the Outback. Most of the country receives more than 3,000 hours of sunshine a year. Australia houses the Great Barrier Reef, a reef teeming with sea species, so large that you can see it from space. Here you can also visit the Aboriginal people of Australia who have a rich culture stretching back at least 50,000 years in the Red Centre. You can see native wildlife in the ecological haven on Kangaroo Islands or visit the ancient beauty of Tasmania’s seventeen national parks. You can also visit the Blue Mountains World Heritage Area where you can take in breathtaking panoramas on a bushwalk, mountain bike, rock climbing, canyoning or abseiling. Australia has something for everyone.

New Zealand consists of two main islands, named the North and South Islands and many smaller ones in the South Pacific Ocean. It is located roughly 1,000 miles southeast of Australia. New Zealand is a country of stunning and diverse natural beauty: jagged mountains, rolling pasture land, steep fiords, pristine trout-filled lakes, raging rivers, scenic beaches, and active volcanic zones. These islands are one of Earth’s most unique biozones, inhabited by flightless birds seen nowhere else such as the weka and kiwi. The Kiwi is not only one of the national symbols and is also the name New Zealanders usually call themselves.
