Bahamas Carnival Cruise

Recently Melinda Frank and her daughter enjoyed a wonderful Bahamas Carnival Cruise adventure to celebrate her daughter’s birthday.

It began with us flying to Florida from California for my Daughter’s 18th birthday, so that we could do a short Bahamas cruise. We cruised on the Carnival Valor. It was decorated beautifully for Christmas with garlands on the staircases and Christmas trees all over the ship. I am so glad we decided to do a cruise in December. The weather was perfect, not too hot and not too cool. There were a lot of choices for activities every night. We loved the comedians and the Broadway style shows. Our favorite was the 80’s themed show. My daughter and her friend really enjoyed the dancing on the deck they did at night. Dinner was great, and they even allowed us to order 2 desserts each. The only thing I wish they had more of is Karaoke. The hours available to do that always conflicted with our later dinner.

I’m very grateful at how accommodating our Bahamas Carnival Cruise was. On a prior cruise planned for June, we had missed our connecting flight to our cruise, and the Carnival agents were so helpful, they even offered to fly us straight to the Bahamas (but we didn’t all have a passport) and they put us up in a hotel for the night, where we were stuck in Texas. They credited back all of our money spent so that we could book for a future date. I’m actually glad it turned out the way it did, because booking our replacement cruise for my daughter’s 18th birthday was perfect and the decor made the ship look that much more beautiful. We would definitely cruise with Carnival again and have World Travel handle our travel planning.
