Swim with the Dolphins

We had an excursion on our trip called “Swim with the Dolphins”. It started with pictures taken of us with the dolphins giving each of us a kiss on the cheek, and also a kiss on the lips. I have never been up close with a dolphin like this before, so it was a great experience. This has been on my bucket list for a long time. After the pictures we swam out farther where there were more dolphins and we got to do a little dance with them and watch them do their tricks, such as flipping, spinning etc.

The island that the excursion was on was beautiful and very private. It wasn’t crowded at all. The water was a clear turquoise blue, and the sand was almost white. The water was warm enough to swim in and the food on the island was expensive but no more expensive than restaurant food.

I would give the experience two thumbs up. it was one of the highlights of the cruise and a memory we will all keep always. We warn you that cost of the pictures is crazy high. The disk cost $75 for all the pictures and the disk and video cost me $120. So if you’re planning to do this and want pictures….save ahead of time. You cannot take your own pictures.
